The Morris Family Blog: …AND, WE’RE OFF!

So I finally managed to get a video uploaded here. I’ve had a lot of trouble with this for the past several months, but glad it worked at last….although for some reason you have to watch it sideways! This is a video of Colbie walking today. She has been taking a few steps here and there for the past few weeks, but she really seemed to take off today. I ended up getting her a baby doll like the one she went crazy over in Denver and she absolutely LOVES it and takes it everywhere! You’ll see in the video too that there is a little sibling rivalry going on. Grayson wasn’t too happy about all the attention being on Colbie at this moment (& you can’t blame him…he is only 3!). I was so focused on getting little missy walking on camera that I did sort of push him aside….Poor Grayson!

Here are some pictures from Halloween Our little Fireman and Dalmatian puppy seemed to enjoy all that Halloween and all the festivities leading up to had to offer this year! The last couple of weeks seem like such a blur to m….we’ve had so much going on. We spent most of last week dealing with a very sick little Colbie and Chasers. Colbie ended up having a really bad ear infection with a fever between 101-103 for over 5 days. Chase has also been back and forth to the Doctor’s office and we have recently learned that he most likely has Addison’s disease and will need to be on Prednisone the rest of his life. I won’t go into all the details, but the important thing is that both Colbie and Chasers are doing much better now and back to their normal spirits.

Aside from our sick “puppies,” we spent some time preparing for Halloween by going to a pumpkin patch, a fall carnival at our church and of course, did a little pumpkin carving at home. The McIntier clan joined us Halloween evening for some trick-or-treating and while our little fireman and chicken were so eager to get out & ring some doorbells, they were both whining to be held and go home after about five houses!
