The kids had a blast with Buddy & Susan for the three nights we had to return home for work. We re-united on Wednesday and enjoyed a few more evenings at our camp.

Home for about 36 hours to tackle 10 plus loads of camping laundry and cleaning up the trailer and then off to the beach! Whoo Hoo!
Jed loves to splash and crawl in the water and of course, put lots of sand in his mouth!
We finally got one! We talk about it every summer and finally bit the bullet and bought a paddle board! It’s super fun for the whole family, very stable and the fact that it’s good work out is a definite plus!
Blaine took both the kids one afternoon for an hour-long adventure through Dana Point harbor and ran into some sea lions by the jetty.

Spent a morning in Laguna beach to visit our favorite bakery and check out some sea anemones!

Checking for coyote tracks and building forts in their room. This was a mellow day at home while Dada was off on his annual fishing trip with the boys. He had a successful trip and brought back several pounds of fresh yellowtail.
We surprised the kids last Friday with a trip to Knott’s Berry Farm!

In my next life I won’t have two left hands and will be able to do my daughter’s hair! I was so proud I managed to do a french braid!
A big thanks to Costco for putting their Halloween costumes out in August, we already have SWAT team officer fully prepared to fight the bad guys and the coyotes!

Just like last summer, we spent our last day on the San Clemente pier and enjoyed some yummy crab & sourdough! Grayson has been asking us for crab ever since last summer so we promised him we would order one at the end of the trip. Come to find out, the little stinker doesn’t even like crab… just wanted to take home the cool shell! I think next time we’ll let him pay!
Thank you Cloud 9 for another awesome summer vacation! So many more great memories made! What a year it’s been already! And so much to celebrate… Grayson starting kindergarten TOMORROW, Colbie starting at a new preschool the end of the month and above all, our little Jedi knight is HEALTHY, strong and getting bigger by the moment!
