Just sharing a few new pics....

Not much new to report here. I just wanted to share some new pictures before they pile up on me and I have to do a super long post.

Great GranDeeDee with her babies! This was taken last weekend at my Mom's Birthday party. Poor DeeDee had been in the hospital for about 2 weeks just prior to this with a number of health problems, but we are happy to report that she is home now and doing a little better every day :-)

Grayson likes to play "baby" and snuggle up close to his sister under her play gym.

Taken last week when we had all that rain. Grayson clearly had a ball!

Go Kings!!! My mom got her this little cheer sleeper.
I love this picture! Colbie sort of has Grayson's goofy surprised look that he always had as a baby!

There's no doubting he loves his baby sister!

That's all for now. Hope everyone has an awesome weekend!

Decide for yourself!

This was my mom's idea actually. Everyone is saying that Colbie looks so much like Grayson (well...they ARE siblings!), so since this was one of my favorite pictures of Grayson taken in Tennessee when he was about the same age as Colbie is now, we thought we'd dress her in the same clothes and try to get the same shot. You guys decide for yourselves! I definitely think they look alike, but I do think she has different shaped eyes. I also wonder if you take any baby about the same age and dress them alike, you would probably see some similarities! Anyhow, just thought it would be fun.

Not much new here. Just celebrated my 31st Birthday last Saturday (God, that sounds so old!). My mom babysat so that Blaine and I could go out for dinner and a movie. We had a nice time. Funny though, we were home by 9:15 and ready for bed.....how times have changed now that kids are in the picture! That was usually when things just got going!

We got our "first day of school" picture by the front door too before our "BIG" night out!
Since my brother's birthday was on Monday, our family decided to have a picnic at the park on Sunday to celebrate both of our birthdays. The weather has been beautiful and it's always nice to let Grayson burn some of that energy outside. Calvin and Susan joined us, as well as the McIntier clan. I really didn't get too many pictures besides the one below of Buddy & Grayson fishing.

Friday night was Dale's 60th Birthday (YES, we have a lot of February birthdays! In fact, Grandma Morris' was last Tuesday and my mom's is this Saturday!) Anyhow, our family threw him a little party at my parents. Below is a picture of Uncle Ryan and Grayson sharing some chips and salsa... and yes, I think he's saying "that salsa is HOT!"
Future Wildcat! That's my BOY!

Colbie wearing her little Valentine sleeper.

May look like Grayson, but I'm pretty sure she got my lazy eye!

Our little Sweet Pea! Looks more like a sweat band than a bow! I'm trying! Reminds me of my Mary Lou Retton days! Oh, Becca remembers those days!

Grayson is doing really well in school. Breaks down crying every time I drop him off (yes, this kills me every time, but I am used to it now..... it's been that way since he was about 4 months old!). He is always happy when I pick him up though and has lots to tell me in the car on the way home. The other day we are driving home and out of the blue, he says, "Mommy, I said my sorry." I thought to myself, "Oh, shit! What did he do!" He goes on to tell me (without my asking) "I no throw sand in the boy's face." While I was a little upset to learn that my son is throwing sand at other kids, I was very proud of him for 1) telling me without even asking and 2) learning a life lesson. No, we don't throw sand in the boy's face anymore! Needless to say, he surprises me and cracks me up everyday with something new he has learned at school.

I went back to work last Thursday. Just working a handful of days this month...sort of easing my way back into it. I go back to my usual three days a week starting in March. I have to admit, while I miss the kids when I'm gone, it was a nice break and good to get some "adult time." Yes, even scraping plaque off of people's teeth is a nice distraction..... away from nursing, wiping boogers and butts, cleaning house and picking up toys all day long! I know that I couldn't work full time with the kids, but a part time schedule is a nice balance....at least for me.
Well, I guess that's it for now. Hope everyone has a great week!
