Can’t believe October is already here! I think we were all ready for that break in the weather too…. as much as the kids have enjoyed their slip n’ slide and finding ways to keep cool this summer, we are all enjoying these beautiful days that October has brought!
Here are my little school children! It’s been such a busy month getting back into the routine of everything and especially with Blaine’s demanding work schedule these days. Mondays & Tuesdays are the most hectic in the mornings, getting the kids up, dressed, fed & out the door by 7 in order to get to work on time. I’m pretty sure at least one of us is in tears each week and it’s usually always me! The rest of the week is just as crazy in a different way, shuffling the kids to and from here and there. Both kids are still doing piano on Wednesdays and Colbie has ballet on Thursdays. Jed is such the get along go along kid… I know some days he probably feels we’ve spent the majority of time in the car. I’ve also gotten to volunteer quite a bit this past month at the kids’ school, which has been fun. I know there will come a time where having your mom at school turns from “cool” to “embarrassing,” so I am enjoying it as long as they let me!

This is where the chickens have decided to start laying their eggs! This is apparently what happens when you just let them roam and POOP wherever. So looking forward to getting them back in their coop now that the weather is cooler!
The kids did the Fuddle’s Fun Run again this year at Smuckers park. G came in 3rd in his group and little sis did awesome, running the majority of the mile! Jed was a trooper as always and a great little cheerleader!
Grayson and I went to our second annual Mom & Son Bowling night! Lots of fun with friends and with our boys! We also had a little birthday dinner for Dada to ring in his 36th!! Blaine has been working like crazy these days, so it was nice to have him home for a night and enjoy a relaxing evening together.
This little monkey continues to make us all laugh! He is such a clown and always on the go! Can’t believe Jed is quickly approaching his second birthday!
