Father/Daughter hot dog roast for Hand in Hand Preschool last month.
Lots of birthday parties in the spring. This was Bryn’s. Even Jed wore a mustache…drool & all!
BBQ with cousins and Michael & Jaimie’s. Braddock, Bradley & Jed!
Celebrated our 8th anniversary last month! Got a sitter and enjoyed a nice evening out! We actually got each other the same exact card (wording anyhow)!
The chickens are laying about 3 eggs a day now! Minus the excessive amount of poop we find everywhere, they are pretty fun to have around! We also like to catch dove these days and treat them like pet birds…. “we” meaning the kids and Dada!
My two little crazies!
Yes, that would be a sports bra that my four year old is wearing. I totally got suckered into buying her some “booby covers” when shopping with her the other day. They are completely ridiculous and yet, I am that ridiculous parent that bought them. She is absolutely not allowed to wear it outside the house, so it is of course her favorite outfit when at home!
Lots of social activities this past month, both with and without the kids! Did another painting class with a couple friends from work…. Margarita Madness!
Night out with the girls for Miss Wendy’s Birthday!
The weather has been amazingly beautiful and sometimes even a little chilly here. Very strange for this time of year. Always warm enough for a popsicle though!
Crazy hair and mismatch day for G at school and Mother’s Tea ceremony & brunch for Mother’s Day at Colbie’s.
We decided to skip town and head to a couple of D-backs games over Mother’s Day weekend. It was nice to get away for a couple of nights from all the craziness with school, activities and the new house.
Dada has the best luck ever and caught a ball at batting practice AGAIN!
This was the highlight of Colbie’s trip… getting to meet Baxter & Baxter’s Mama for Mother’s Day!
Blaine’s Uncle Leonard hasn’t been doing well in recent months so it was nice to be able to visit with him while we were in Phoenix. He seemed in great spirits when we were there.
Blaine coached Grayson’s baseball team for the first time this year. They had a great little team and Blaine did an awesome job coaching! This was their last game this past Monday, followed by and end of the season pizza party on Wednesday.
Grayson had his first piano recital this past weekend. We played heart & soul together. He did an awesome job! I think the only thing that made him more nervous was the fact that he was the only one wearing dorky deck shoes! We were thrilled when Papa showed up wearing the same exact shoes!
I scheduled some 18 month pictures at J.C. Penney’s for this little guy last Wednesday. Amidst one of his recent “I don’t wanna!” temper tantrums, I learned very quickly that it wasn’t going to happen. He can be a stubborn little fella! Good thing he is adorable!
And then this happened! Miss Colbie had a little graduation ceremony from Hand in Hand this past Tuesday.
Water park fun Thursday night for end of the school year celebration for Yuma Lutheran.
Phew, it’s been a crazy past few weeks. One more week of school to get through for Grayson and then summer vacation officially starts… for the kids that it!
Looking forward to having a little more “free time” to work in the yard & around the house over the summer. So far, we’ve planted 10 trees, several shrubs and put in a side yard. This is how it turned out… it was all just dirt when we moved in. Blaine has done an awesome job with the yard. Now he is working on pulling stickers and getting the big yard planted. Fun fun fun!
