Actually we’re moving onto four months old, but I took these a while back to document his three month cuteness!
Crazy hair and sock day at school!
We’ve made a few visits with Great Grandma Morris and Great Grandma DeeDee recently.
Sleeping babies are the best!
This is his “I can be adorable when I want to be face!” He is a determined little booger lately and has been on a total nap protest! It wouldn’t be a big deal if he was a happy baby when awake, but lack of sleep usually means grouchy kid grouchy kid means GROUCHY Mama.
Typical evening after dinner. They still love to hitch things and pull random crap (I mean special toys!) from the house. The kids have also started to make quite a few friends in the neighborhood and love going out front to hang with their new friends. Our street alone probably has 12-14 kids under the age of 10. We have 7 year old triplets next door and they also like to have conversations over the back yard fence, by propping themselves up on stacked chairs (super safe I’m sure!). Sort of reminds me of the conversations between Wilson and Tim the Tool man!
Valentines day! Since G was off from school that day, we did some cookie decorating!
Soccer games every Saturday! Grayson is a little stud out there and really seems to enjoy it. Total transformation from last year :)
We took a day trip out to the desert last Sunday. My brother and Kim joined us. Cooked hot dogs, collected rocks, kids road their quads, Grayson got to shoot his bow and just hung out and enjoyed the beautiful weather. Jed even took a great nap in his little travel crib. That right there made my day! We may need to take him to the desert more often.
“Snapin’ into a Slim Jim” with Uncle Ryan!
Line up for the piƱata at their cousin’s birthday party and popsicles at the park one weekend. We are soaking in this amazing weather as long as it lasts. Before long, we will be crying about how hot it is and feeling cooped up indoors.
Finally got the guts to chop off all her fine baby hair. Sniff sniff :( The pool girl has my pitiful fine, damaged hair. I think it turned out really cute though. She looks like such a big girl now with her new bob!
Colbie also started back at school this week. She’s just attending two days a week at her old preschool for now. I definitely think the new baby and all the transitions that come along with him have been the most difficult for Colbie. With Grayson being well established at school and coming home talking all about his friends and showing off projects that he did and then Jed pretty much taking up all of our time, Colbie has often gotten the short end of the stick. Although she has ballet once a week, I think getting her back into “school” a couple days a week will be good for her! And that also means that I will have one day a week with just one child… one cranky cat napper of a child….oh what a treat!
