Gone fishing!

Once again, I am lacking in the blog department.  I’ve had these pictures for a few weeks now and am just now getting around to posting them.  With the weather warming up, we’ve enjoyed a few bike rides and picnics at our neighborhood park recently.  Grayson and Daddy have also had some good luck in the fishing department at the pond there.  I have no idea what kind of fish these are, but the boys did manage to catch three fish within an hour on one of our picnics.  The one that Grayson is proudly holding above was caught entirely by Grayson himself!  Blaine and I were chasing after Colbie, when we heard Grayson yelling “I caught a fish!”  And sure enough, he was holding his pole up with a little fish dangling on the end!

We’ve been busy as ever here in the Morris household.  I honestly can’t think of the last weekend we weren’t either out of town or had something going on.  I took a trip to Scottsdale last weekend with my mom and Kim for a little girl’s weekend and for Brittney’s baby shower.  Kim & I took a little photography class at the zoo Saturday morning and then we spent the rest of the afternoon doing a little shopping and visiting with the Andersons and the Hollenbauchs.  The photography class was awesome, although, as with anything, unless I practice what I learned, I know it will go right out the window.  I am already back to my lazy ways and taking pictures on AUTO again!

This weekend Blaine is out of town.  He left very early this morning to take part in a mission trip with our church.  They are building a rehab center for women in San Luis, Mexico in one weekend!  Neither Blaine or I have ever done anything like this, so I am really happy for him that he gets to be a part of such a neat experience and am excited to hear how it all goes.

So here are just a few more recent pictures that I wanted to share.

You can tell by her shirt, Miss Colbie is either working on some more teeth or has a chronic drooling problem like her brother!

Just some cute pics I took last week before we headed out to Buddy & Susan’s for dinner.  Colbie had on her cowgirl boots on for Buddy’s house!

PARK DAYS!  Went to the park this am with Becca, Molly & Maggie.  Grayson & Molly have such a love – hate relationship…..they are fighting one minute and hugging the next….but in the end, it’s all love!  They are real buddies and wanted to ride home together in the same stroller!

Hope everyone is doing well!  Have a great weekend!
